ABOUT THE TEAM

Fitness All Out Racing was built to help mountain bikers become stronger athletes, more confident riders, and smarter racers—regardless of where they are in their journey.

Whether you're learning foundational bike handling skills, building fitness for your first race season, or competing at the highest levels of the sport, our coaching programs provide the structure, support, and expertise needed to help you reach your goals.

Our athlete development pathway is designed to meet riders where they are and help them take the next step forward. Through personalized coaching, skills instruction, strength and conditioning, and training plans, we create opportunities for athletes to grow both on and off the bike.

Many athletes begin with one-on-one skills training or personal training to build confidence and fitness. From there, riders can join our Development Team, where they receive structured training plans, coaching support, and a community of athletes working toward similar goals. As riders progress, standout athletes may earn an invitation to join our Elite Racing Team, where individualized coaching, race strategy, and comprehensive performance support help maximize competitive success.

No matter your starting point, our mission remains the same: to help you become the strongest, most confident version of yourself on the bike.

MEET OUR COACH

Jim Verner

USAC Licensed Coach

Certified Personal Trainer

Jim Verner is the founder and head coach of Fitness All Out Racing, an elite cross-country mountain bike team competing at the highest levels across Georgia and the country. He has been racing competitively since 1998, giving him firsthand insight into the demands of high-level competition.

 

Jim began coaching with the Woodstock High School mountain bike team, later helping start Apex Junior Development, before launching Fitness All Out Racing to help riders push their limits and grow into elite competitors. Under his leadership, athletes have earned multiple state championships and gained national race experience against the best in the sport.

 

Beyond mountain biking, Jim has trained athletes across disciplines including football, tennis, swimming, hockey, basketball, and baseball. His coaching career highlights include training a two-time Paralympic gold medalist swimmer, as well as guiding developing athletes to reach new levels of strength, endurance, and performance.

 

His years as a personal trainer, experience, and in-depth joke library ensures that riders and clients will experience an enjoyable and fun atmosphere while achieving the rewards of meeting new challenges.

 

Jim’s coaching philosophy blends proven performance training with a team culture that builds both competitive excellence and lasting confidence.
